A very sophisticated dining space in the 'commercial heart' of Mumbai. Good prompt ushers and a customized ordering system, in accordance with most fine dining places. That apart, the open kitchen is ...an eyesore, with dirty plastic boxes and stained walls forming the set. Extremely loud, jarring music to go alongwith, making it exceedingly difficult to talk at a normal decibel level. And save for the 'gastronomic-delight-they-call-dumsums', the rest can very easily be passed up. Go here ONLY for the Tea and Dimsums. Pretty easy to see why this isn's Michelin-star rated. (the London one is, NOT this one!) See More

The place is over rated. The open kitchen makes it loud and noisy. Dimsums is the only best here, in fact too good. Rest of food is ordinary. Very expensive. Don't like the seating arrangement.

Awoseme first experience! Very sophisticated smart and happening place. Loved the modern design concept. We went for set lunch and from start to finish every dish was superb. The best crispy duck roll...s I ever had. The macarons were just to die for. Will definitely visit again and again and again. See More

Food (dim sums): good as usual & as expected.
Service: decent; but had to wait 3-4 mins each time to catch the eye of one of the uniformed stewards.
Noise: a bit to high to have a quiet meal or have ...polite conversation with guests
Attention to detail: Sadly missing. I had done the booking thru Dineout. The offer (macaroons for each guest) wasn’t given. Had mentioned it was the b’day of 1 guest. Nobody even asked if we want to hav anything spl.

Unbelievable how disoriented a restaurant can be! Decide whether you want to be a fine dine or an roadside joint and then charge accordingly.

Celebrated by 11th Love Anniversary last evening at Yauatcha...Had best hot and sour soup of my life, the best Dimsums ever, amazing Kung Pao Chicken and the dessert Luxe Gataeu!!!
Loved the hospital...ity, ambience and the overall feel of the place...one of the best eat-outs I have been to... looking forward to re-visit and try Turnip Cake now, as it was highly recommended dish, but since we decided not to eat vegetarian, we didn't order!!! See More

So this is not my first time ofcourse.. I have lost count however this is my first time to the Mumbai one in BKC. The decor as usual is sophisticated and classy! If you are looking for a budget meal t...his is not the place. You have to pay a bit and they will ensure they return you in lots! The food here is the epitome of sumptuousness! My take would be if you are a dimsum fan just go on and on with their dimsums and jump to the desserts! But if u want to try all three ie main course as well then go slow with the dimsums :)

My personal favourite is prawn Cheung fun, crispy duck roll, prawn&chicken Sui mai, pork dimsums and I can go on and on! Since I'm a lover of dimsums I eat a lot of it and jump to desserts. My all time favourite is rasberry delice however the green tea ice-cream and the luxe gateau is out of the world too! And what makes the experience even better is there service and the warmth!

After hearing rave reviews of the place, I had to pay it a visit. The place was just as I expected with a modern, sophesticate decore and authentic lip smacking food. Our server Amit was very kind and... helpful, offered his advice whenever we seeked. Loved the experience and special mention of the macroons!!! See More

Negative point - was a bit too loud , thinking of being a nice romantic n cost place it wasn't as expected . Wanted a nice corner table ( asked before hand while booking) but we wr still given a cente...r table wid a sofa that was shared wid a space in the center ( nt v nice n not private at all) . After having a table booked 5 days in advance and reaching on time the table was given 10 mins later saying someone will help u jus give us a min .
And yes the menu needs to be up on zomato for ppl to know what's the menu like esp if pork is being served and if ppl are not comfy they can think before coming.

Positive - good was Gd .. the guy that took the order was nice and helpful .

The food is just excellent as always. Service average, inadequte attentiveness to customers. Many suited guys floating around without looking at the table, or customers. Had to request for refill of w...ater and used plate clearance. So service charge 10 % plus taxes thereon was not justified. The cushioning in the sofa has already sunk to uncomfortable levels. Need to be repaired or replaced. The gentleman taking order, instead of understanding our likes and choices, was more keen on pushing the costlier items. Prices do not justify the too noisy ambience and average service, so one star down. Only the food compensates. Work for getting your five stars back, as I love the food. See More
