Jerry Ajay, Sree Dunnala, Aravind Polkam, Yuyang Chen (TA), Aosen Wang (TA), students and TAs from CSE490/590 (Spring, 2017) won second place in the International Hardware Design Contest. This year's theme was "FPGA for internet of things". The contest was sponsored by ACM SIGDA and Lattice, and the results were announced in ACM/IEEE DAC, one of the top conferences in EDA and hardware.
The team's project title was "IoMT Pilot: Towards FPGA-based Collision Detection Accelerator for 3D Printing Safety" and was co-supervised by Wenyao Xu and Chi Zhou.
