IE-GSA consists of all graduate students in the department and is funded through student fees paid to the UB Graduate Student Association. IE-GSA is an active organization supporting social, quality of life, and professional events for IE graduate students. Recent activities have included a local white-water rafting trip; a soccer tournament with students and faculty; LaserTag, and Sky Zone; and monthly lunch meetings. They co-fund HFES and INFORMS events (described below) and also participate in Speaker meet–and-greet events.
