Education: BA in Psychology from University at Buffalo; MS in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration from Canisius University
Academic Path: During my senior year here at UB, I was a peer mentor for a freshman seminar course. Getting to support first-year students as they navigated college life was such a rewarding experience, and it sparked my interest in working in higher education. Since then, I’ve spent nearly ten years in the field, working in various student support roles including accessibility services, academic advising, and success coaching. No matter the role, my favorite part has always been working with students one-on-one and helping them reach their personal and academic goals. I find working with college students to be very fulfilling and love being part of a student’s educational journey!
Specialty Area: First year students
Hobbies and Interests: Outside of work, I love traveling, spending time with my husband and dog, and cheering on the Bills. I’m also a foodie who loves trying new restaurants around Buffalo, and I am always happy to share recommendations!
