An article in Fortune Magazine on a simulated workplace that shows how sexist slights can hurt women’s careers features research by Kenneth Joseph, assistant professor in UB’s Department of Computer Science and Engineering, who created a computer simulation of a fictional workplace called NormCorp.

The report is based upon an opinion article that Joseph’s collaborator, Jessica Nordell, wrote for The New York Times. Read the story here. Portions of the Times’ piece was carried by Politico.
