The Niagara Gazette reported that the Army Corps of Engineers and the Environmental Protection Agency are building a 700-foot-long fish passage to help emerald shiners overcome the velocity of the Niagara River, a project that UB researchers, including Joseph Atkinson, helped to provide data for.
