Professor Sriram Neelamegham was elected fellow of the Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES), an honor given to the most accomplished leaders in the BME field.

According to BMES, Fellow status is a distinguished honor awarded to members with outstanding qualifications and experience, who have demonstrated exceptional achievement in the field of biomedical engineering. Recipients have also maintained a consistent record of membership and active participation within the Society.

Elected fellow, Professor Sriram Neelamegham was recognized at the BMES Annual Meeting in Philadelphia on October 17, 2019 during a special ceremony honoring the Class of 2019 Fellows.
