Why did you choose to attend UB?
It was a great school for engineering in New York.
Why did you decide to major in MAE?
I've always had a fascination with how thing worked. I found the intro to engineering courses very engaging. All the theory I learned in classes such as Statics and Thermodynamics really cemented my thirst to understand the underlying principles and mechanics of the world.
What is your favorite thing about living in Buffalo?
The freedom from city life. The campus is a great change from the constant rush that is in New York City.
What was your involvement outside the classroom?
I enrolled in Intramurals my junior year and I loved the experience. It’s a great stress reliever and a break from all the stressful schoolwork.
What will you miss most about being a UB undergrad?
All the great friends, classmates, roommates and professors I've met through my experience here at UB.
What is your advice to current and incoming MAE students?
It's okay if you're struggling, everyone struggles, it only matters if you're committed enough to finish. Always try to be on top of your classes and if not, learn to play the catch up game well.
