BUFFALO, N.Y. — The University at Buffalo’s New York State Center of Excellence in Materials Informatics will host a free lecture on Thursday, Feb. 8 to showcase how industry collaboration with UB faculty experts benefits research and development projects.

Where: 701 Ellicott St., Buffalo, 14203.

When: Thursday, Feb. 8 from 4- 5 p.m.

Who: Taylor Mann, CEO and co-founder of CleanSlate UV, and Jung-Hun Seo, PhD, an assistant professor in the UB Department of Materials Design and Innovation who has partnered with Buffalo-based ENrG on research, will discuss how collaborations with UB benefit industry.

The following UB faculty will discuss how industry partnerships help to advance research projects: Edward Furlani, PhD, professor in the UB Department of Electrical Engineering, and Fei Yao, PhD, research assistant professor in the UB Department of Materials Design and Innovation.

Matt Enstice, president and CEO of the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus, will give opening remarks that provide an update on the campus.
