Ergonomics Practice. He is a board-certified ergonomist
specializing in occupational ergonomics and workplace safety. He
assists clients across a broad range of industries in applying
ergonomics and risk control principles and concepts that identify
opportunities and intervention strategies to reduce injuries,
develop best practices, become more productive, and save money.
Kara Latorella began her career at NASA Langley when she was a graduate student in UB’s Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, when she received a NASA Graduate Student Research Fellowship award to conduct her dissertation.
Maggie has over 10 years of experience in conducting applied human factors research to improve aviation safety through developing various safety programs (e.g., error investigation, training, self-reporting and observation of normal operations)
