Calling all UB ISE alumni: We'd love to share news of your positions and accomplishments, whether you graduated in 2013 or 1973!

Brian Kleiner is the Bogle Professor Fellow in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the Virginia Polytechnic Institute. Dr. Kleiner is interested in the socio-technical systems issues associated with safety, health and performance, including a focus on function allocation in automation and collaborative and organizational aspects of engineering and design.
Professor Chase Murray's research interests are in the area of operations research, with a particular focus on military applications related to airborne surveillance and reconnaissance. His other areas of interest include vehicle routing and scheduling, pricing, and revenue management.

In addition to serving as chairman of the firm, Dan leads Hodgson Russ's False Claims Act and Business Crimes Practice Groups and is a member of the firm's Business Litigation Practice Group, placing him among the firm's leaders in both civil business litigation and white-collar criminal and regulatory matters, including corporate investigations and compliance. Dan has also appeared in numerous federal False Claims Act cases on behalf of both relators and defendants.


David Feathers is a human factors engineer at Apple. He has extensive research experience involving the intersection of human factors and product design, including personal protective equip­ment, prod­uct evaluation, healthcare instrumenta­tion, biome­chanics of multi-touch/smart sur­faces, and mod­eling personal adap­tive strate­gies.


David is a research engineer and program manager at the Air Force Research Laboratory – Information Directorate located in Rome, New York. His research lies in the application of operations research techniques across the research domain of Cyberspace Command and Control.
