Our nationally ranked master's in Engineering Management degree program provides graduate study for anyone who desires to enhance their technical competence to more effectively take leadership roles within an organization. Earning the Degree

Students complete 9 courses and a capstone project. The program is extremely flexible. Students can:

  • Begin the program in fall, winter, spring or summer semesters.
  • Enroll either full- or part-time.
  • Take online courses synchronously during scheduled live class times or asynchronously to match scheduling needs.

Capstone Project

This is your opportunity to lead a hands-on project focused on the innovative application of engineering and management principles to add value, not research. You will engage with faculty, industry and other partners to make strategic decisions about existing processes or design new processes. The objective is to demonstrate measurable and impactful improvements in critical characteristics and key performance indicators such as quality, cost, build-to-order flexibility, time-to-market, and customer satisfaction, among others. 

Options for Working Professionals and Full-Time Students

The master's in Engineering Management is designed for working professionals. Full-time students can complete the program within one year.
