Sr. VP, Business Development & Technology, Cobham Mission Systems
Ken Kota, BS ’93, is Sr. VP of Business Development & Technology for Cobham’s Mission Systems (CMS) sector. CMS has a global footprint with expertise in pneumatic systems, actuation and control systems, unmanned ground vehicles and the world leader in air to air refueling. Ken has over 20 years of experience in the aerospace and defense arena, having joined Cobham in 1999.
Ken has held a variety of roles within Cobham including design engineer, continuous improvement manager, director of operations and site general manager. In his current position as Sr. VP Business Development & Technology, Ken is responsible for leading the business development activity for the sector and ensuring our technology investment is aligned with customer needs. Prior to joining Cobham, Ken had spent time with Woodward Governor as a design engineer and Danaher as a business team leader.
