2016 summer intern

The SUNY LSAMP summer program is a 10-week intensive National Science Foundation (NSF) summer research experience for undergraduates who have completed a minimum of 30 credits, have a GPA of 2.8 or greater and have demonstrated serious research interest in a STEM discipline.

Program Highlights

  • 10‐week National Science Foundation (NSF) summer internship for undergraduates in STEM disciplines
  • Participation in oral and/or poster presentations at the national UB Undergraduate Research Conference
  • Research Methods Seminar
  • Weekly “soft skills” workshops
  • LSAMP Research Symposium poster presentation

  • $4,000 stipend

How to Apply

Complete a Summer Research Program application. Your application should include:

  • 2 completed faculty, staff and/or advisor recommendations
  • Resume/CV
  • Typed personal statement
  • Official college/university transcript(s)
    (University at Buffalo students do not need to provide a transcript)
