A story on WXXI-AM in Rochester about a program that helps people with disabilities to kayak and participate in other activities in the Great Lakes region interviews Victor Paquet, associate professor of industrial and systems engineering and a member of UB’s IDeA Center – short for Inclusive Design and Environmental Access.

“I look at disability as just simply a mismatch between the demands of the environment and the abilities of people,” he said. “It’s that simple.”

The story also aired on Buffalo's WBFO-FM as part of its Great Lakes Today series.
