Welcome Weekend is the official kick-off to the fall semester for new students. During Welcome Weekend, you will prepare for academics at UB, explore campus and SEAS resources, and connect with other students.
Launch into the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) and the campus we call home. You will begin your day at 1:00 P.M. with your academic department before heading out to explore the spaces and places that support and serve the SEAS community. The day will also include a scavenger hunt and a gathering afterward in Grace Plaza with current SEAS student club representatives, faculty, and staff.

Meet with your department, meet key department faculty and staff and learn about exciting opportunities students can pursue like research, internships and student clubs.

Explore campus, meet with members of the SEAS community, and complete the Scavify Scavenger Hunt! Don't forget to sneak a selfie at Baird Point, check in at the Career Design Center in 259 Capen Hall, and meet with SEAS student club representatives. Join us in Grace Plaza for some ice cream and meet with SEAS student club representatives, faculty and staff. Your team will have a chance to win SEAS swag – check in at the Launch Pad!
