Seniors participated in two pledges at the SEAS Pledge to Professionalism Ceremony, held during Engineers Week on February 20. Engineering students were inducted into the Order of the Engineer and applied sciences students took the Pledge of the Computing Professional Oath. Both ceremonies demonstrate that the students are willing to uphold the ethical standards of their fields. Engineering students receive a stainless-steel ring to be worn on the little finger of their dominant hand and students in applied sciences majors receive a lapel pin featuring the word "honor" in binary code.
