Bruce Kohrn, a business strategist, are the first-place winners of this year’s Panasci Technology Entrepreneurship Competition for their startup, NanoHydroChem, which focuses on hydrogen fuel cell technology.

A team led by a UB doctoral student took first place in UB’s Henry A. Panasci Jr. Technology Entrepreneurship Competition for a technology that generates hydrogen gas from water.

The finals of the Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition are happening this week, and four doctoral students from the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences are among the 12 students who will pitch their research to a panel of judges and the audience.
