What did serving as a Student Leader mean to you? What motivated you to participate?
Serving as a leader means putting in the time and effort to make others feel welcome in the School of Engineering, and helping to smooth the difficult transition from high school to college. By far the biggest motivation for participating was how great of an experience the course was for me as a freshman, and wanting to make sure that others could have that same experience.

A memory that remains with me from my Student Leader days is:
I still have several years to go, so my pool to choose from is smaller, but there are already a couple. From the first meeting I went to, the Sunday before finals week of my freshman year to waking up to several emails from distressed students the morning of lab.

Any leaders you'd like to shout-out to?
Monica Wild (Freshman TA), Mitch Haefele (Freshman Leader), Ben Leising (202 TA), Matt Schuth, and Noah Bacon
