What did serving as a Student Leader mean to you? What motivated you to participate?
It was really special to be able to help out incoming freshmen in a way that I was helped as a freshman myself. Just to be someone who could help out people around my age with projects that I did and questions that I had, and that was very rewarding. I was motivated to do this because I wanted to give back to the program because I thought it was a fantastic idea, and an idea that would help freshman want to stay with the engineering program and not leave it.

A memory that remains with me from my Student Leader days is:
Just the interactions with upcoming engineering and seeing how the program was growing. I remember not ever once using google docs or sheets as a freshman, and then those programs basically becoming a staple for freshmen just one year later.
