EngiNet - A Distance Education Program

EngiNet, the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences distance education office, offers a wide variety of off-site learning opportunities.

Whether you are a busy professional looking to supplement your education, an engineer/scientist looking to pursue graduate studies or a company looking to improve your workforce, EngiNet has something for you.

EngiNet is user-friendly, convenient and a great way to increase knowledge, improve job skills and expand professional options.

Continuing Education

The School of Engineering and Applied Sciences is an approved NYS provider site for professional engineers. We offer three options for PE Continuing Education.

Graduate Courses

Graduate courses are available on campus or through the distance education (EngiNet) office - see above.

Most of the courses qualify as 36 contact hours of PE Continuing Education.

Special Short Courses

Special short courses are custom-designed courses that are offered from time to time on specific technical topics and are of variable length (often two or three days in length). For more information, please contact us.

Seminars

Seminars are conducted by the departments on technical topics and are typically rated at 1 contact hour each. Visit the Seminars and Meetings page for a complete list of upcoming events.

To attend a seminar for credit, please contact us ahead of time.
