The School of Engineering and Applied Sciences offers students ample opportunities to engage in creative research.
There are many scholarships, fellowships and other funding opportunities available for students in engineering and applied sciences.

Engineering clubs focus on many different facets of the engineering field and allow students to gain hands on experience of the material they learn in the classroom.

Our students regularly receive accolades for their research activities, participation in national competitions, design projects, internships and more.
The College of Arts and Sciences and the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences are excited to launch the Women in Science and Engineering (WiSE) program.   

UB’s GRoW Home came in second in its inaugural entry into the U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon.
