UB Engineering Design Camp

August 14-18, 2017 | UB North Campus

Note: Plans for 2017 are in the works. Check back in March for more details.

Interested in taking apart toys and other products to see how they work? How about using 3-D printers to make something? This summer, UB is offering an Engineering Design Camp, where participants will be guided by faculty and students as they:

  • “Tear down” products to learn what’s inside
  • Program and use robots
  • Design and build using 3-D printers
  • Explore advanced manufacturing through field trips and team-based activities

About the 2016 Engineering Design Camp

Cost and Registration

Tuition for the program is $300. Each student will receive a certificate at the completion of the program.

Who can attend

High school students entering grades 9-12 are eligible to apply for the camp. Students should have strong science and mathematical ability, and an interest in a career in STEM.

We are especially interested in students from groups that are under-represented in STEM professions.

Engineering Design Camp is sponsored by UB's School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and Northrop Grumman.
