Various forms of financial assistance are available to EE
graduate students, from scholarships and fellowships, to teaching
assistantships and tuition assistance.
Assistantships usually require 15 to 20 hours per week in a teaching or research role. Summer opportunities are also available, providing valuable experience as well as additional financial support.
Continuing students who wish to be considered for financial aid for the fall semester should make their requests known before March 1 of the same year. Continuing students who wish to be considered for financial aid for the spring semester should make their requests known before October 1 of the preceding year. Late requests for assistance may be considered if funds are available. Requests should be in the form of a letter addressed to either the Director of Graduate Studies, and should be submitted to the Graduate Academic Coordinator.
