Graduate Program

Being a highly interdisciplinary department, EE builds on a strong foundation of physical and mathematical sciences, a broad knowlege of engineering principles and techniques, and an understanding of how technologies can help us shape the future.  We offer a broad education and in-depth training to help our graduates succeed in their careers.

The Department of Electrical Engineering offers courses of study leading to the degrees Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), Master of Science (M.S.), and Master of Engineering (M.E.). Each of the graduate programs has unique benefits that allow our students to specialize in numerous areas of interest.

Current and recent course offerings may be found at these links on the Registrar's Website:
Various forms of financial assistance are available to EE graduate students, from scholarships and fellowships, to teaching assistantships and tuition assistance.
EE has a variety of clubs, organizations and activities that enhance engineering education outside of the classroom. The diversity and number of organizations in the department reflect the wide range our students' professional interests.

All of the necessary forms and deadlines graduate students will need can be found in this one location.

Graduate programs offer students the opportunity to participate in research alongside our distinguished faculty. In addition, students continue to develop through numerous classes and workshops.
