Program Description

Entering the workforce with a combination of management and technical skills provides a powerful platform to launch a career.

Students in this joint degree program earn degrees in both Electrical Engineering (a Bachelor of Science), and the UB School of Management (an MBA). Students complete all of the courses in the typical BSEE curriculum. During their fourth and fifth years, students take a combination of MBA and EE courses. Therefore, students earn both degrees at the end of five years.

Students wishing to pursue this program should apply during their third year of study in their undergraduate program—directly to the School of Management. Admissions will be limited to students who have demonstrated superior capabilities. For additional information about the application process, please visit the School of Management website.

MBA Information Sessions

UB MBA information sessions offer prospective students the opportunity to learn more about the competitive strengths of the UB MBA program, community and the admissions process. Sessions generally last 30-45 minutes. As a current UB student, we ask you to register for and attend one of the many sessions offered throughout the year. Please email specific program questions to som-apps@buffalo.edu and one of our admissions staff will follow up.

Save time & money

Combined degree programs give students the opportunity to complete a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in less time and money.
