Natesh Parashurama has received the 2017 Margulis Award from the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA)

The Margulis Award recognizes the best original scientific articles published in Radiology between July 1 of the prior year and June 30 of the award year. The main criteria for selection are scientific quality and originality. The award is named after Alexander R. Margulis, MD, a distinguished investigator and inspiring visionary in the science of radiology.  Assistant Professor Parashurama was recognized for his papers: “Multimodality Molecular Imaging of Cardiac Cell Transplantation: Part I. Reporter Gene Design, Characterization, and Optical in Vivo Imaging of Bone Marrow Stromal Cells after Myocardial Infraction & Part II. In Vivo Imaging of Bone Marrow Stromal Cells in Swine with PET/CT and MR Imaging”. Radiology 2016: 280:815-836.
