The Institute on Trauma and Trauma-Informed Care (ITTIC)

ITTIC provides research and training for organizations regarding trauma and trauma-informed care through evaluation, trauma-specific treatment interventions, training, technical assistance, research and consultation.

What's New at ITTIC

The Trauma Talks series is a collection of interviews that asks individuals to share how they have seen strength and resilience heal wounds of trauma as a result of the use of a trauma-informed approach. The series will include regular postings of personal and professional accounts within different human service settings.

The Institute on Trauma and Trauma-Informed Care was started at the University at Buffalo in 2012 by Research Professor Tom Nochajski and Clinical Associate Professor Sue Green out of the need for additional trauma-related services, training and support within the University and community at large.
