An Engineering Camp for High School Girls

TINKER is a unique, student-run engineering camp for high school girls designed to expose girls to the different disciplines of engineering while debunking the common misconceptions that prevent women from considering an engineering career.

About the camp

Students are mentored by professional women engineers, faculty, and students - as well as work in teams with other participants.

The week begins with a one-hour orientation, and concludes with a dinner banquet. Parents/guardians are invited to the banquet, and students will have the opportunity to present about their experience at TINKER.

No engineering experience required!

Camp Includes:

  • Hands-on projects
  • Tours of local engineering companies
  • Presentations from professors
  • Networking with female engineers
  • Teamwork exercises
