Me my wife and 2 children.
It’s a great hotel for families with endless pools a beach and lots of activities if you want them.
Our room is large and spotless. In the villa block.
The only negatives from my point of view are that the all inclusive lunch options are a bit limited for brown wristbands. We wanted to order food round on the sunbeds at the bay club the other day but weren’t allowed as we weren’t in that area for our acc...ommodation. The point being the large pool where we are staying gets super busy and if your not down early to reserve beds they are snapped up! So we couldn’t sit round there! As everything was taken!
The only other point being that the buffet restaurant gets super busy at peak times so maybe avoid these times as it’s packed.
What an amazing place! From the moment you arrive the staff are so polite and make you very welcome. The rooms are always cleaned so beautifully and smell fresh. The pools are inviting, clean and warm. The beach is kept beautifully. I have ceoliac disease so I can't eat any gluten.....im always anxious when staying in new hotels....but this was taken away in an instant! Everyday the chef would walk me around the buffet telling me what was safe to eat. He always offered to cook me anything else I wished for. Everytime I saw him he had a smile on his face....shook my hand and nothing was ever any trouble. Thank you so much for your help and consideration to my needs. You have no idea how much it means to not feel like I had to miss out in anything. Will definitely be back....next time with my children.
We are halfway through our week here & are loving it so far. Ideal for families as so much for kids to do. We are in beach club & ideal as our bedrooms opens onto the gardens/beach. easy to get around the resort. The food has been great. I’m not a fan of buffet but I have to admit there has been a great choice each night with the meat/curries first Class. Staff are all super friendly & checking we are ok. We have already started to recommend this place to friends & plan to return again!
I have been in this hotel two times having dinner at al marjan restaurant without problens with valet for the car everything normal like a normal hotel in UAE.
Today we called two times and the manager of the al marjan restaurant mislead us saying that we don't need a reservation. At the gate, the security boss ahmed asked us for a bribe to go in saying that it is the new rules... they treated us like trash and very disrespectful while several people entered the hotel without the same questioning they were making to us... They wanted the name if the people in the restaurant who didn't accepted the reservation and of course we did not know because people usually ask our name for the reservation...
It is just a shame that a hotel like hilton accept and work with unprepared people who make prejudice towards others. You guys are disgusting.
Just because it says Hilton on the building doesn't mean you're getting a quality stay. Check-in to our Bay Club room took 2 hours! The food and cocktails have been unpalatable. The pool overcrowded with package tourists who stake claim to all the loungers with towels from before breakfast. And I don't see very many smiling staff as some others claim there are. The lady in the kids club has a permanent scowl on her face. The only real saving grace has been the "pirate ship" water slides for my son, he definitely wore himself out with those. Simply put, worst hotel stay we've had in 3 years in UAE and will not be coming back. Any UAE residents looking for a staycation spot can easily find better elsewhere.
3rd time here, but last time. Check in took over 30 minutes. Claimed that they had not recieved any reservation from our agency. Sure...Dissapointing to note how service is not on same standard as in the past. Cleaning of room was bad. Needed to make calls 3-4 times for missing towels, toilett paper. Safe quit working. Was repaired, but same problem occured again. Called housekeeping. No action so I gave up. Aircon did not work first night. Needed also to be fixed. Wild cat in restaurant (outside) but staff did not do much to get the cat away. These sort of things would not have happend in the past. So you managed to loose a very loyal Customer. A real pitty. The place has a lot of potential but is badly managed.
All good and beautiful place but if you are looking for a relaxing time dont go there! There is laud music every where the entire day! Besides that they give party to companies with again loud music conflicting with the music that is already going on during the day! We put a complaint but the manager did not do anything with it!
Come here for Lunch at Al Marjan restaurant. The hotel is really busy and lots of kids. As for the food, the buffet served had a lot of options for all dietary requirements. Love their ice cream! Will be back another time to dine but I don't consider to stay there yet as of now.
I'm here using the beach club. At least I've paid to use the beach club. Only there is no beach club. Nowhere for us to shower and change, and nowhere to get a quick lunch on the beach. This hotel should not be charging people to use the beach club as there isn't one. I've asked for a refund but the manager has not come to discuss with me.
It’s very surprising and annoying to experience about the hotel policies !!
I visited the al Marjan island with my family to enjoy the happiness festival!!
We couldn’t enter the hotel since the security blocked us asking to pay 150AED each to enter the restaurants !!...
I felt it’s a discrimination!! I’vent felt this is any other hotels in UAE �
No to Double tree Hilton in my lifetime!!
