Jorge Gatica

“I have many, many fond memories of my UB CBE friends and classmates/labmates. We always joked about the trailers between Furnas Hall and the Earthquake
Center, and moved in when they were first installed as "temporary" offices in 1986. We used to call them "The Steven Sample Complex" ... they lasted more than 20 years ! ”

Fun fact:

"I graduated in 1989 and I have been a faculty at CSU since 1992. One of the many students who completed a degree with me in Summer 2015 had been a student of one of my ex-students in Taiwan. This student had completed a MS with me, then gone on to UB to complete his PhD with Carl Lund, who had been in my Dissertation Committee...what a large cycle we have completed!"
